This book contains ten arrangements of Christmas carols for solo piano. The difficulty of this book is overrated as early advanced. Most of the arrangements are at an intermediate level. Some do contain some awkward fingering which make them more difficult than they should be and take more effort than the end result is worth. I don’t dislike the arrangements in the book, but I don’t find them very inspired either. Many of them start at well but they don’t go anywhere and aren’t well-developed as arrangements. On the plus side, this book contains a few carols that are well less known and it is nice to have piano arrangements of those.
