Since most of the world envisions England through the eyes of Constable and his beautiful paintings, this book is perfect to remind us of both his world, now gone by, and the gorgeous landscapes and scenes still in England (once you're out in the countryside). Thank heaven for strict zoning, as it's preserved much of the magnificent landscape Constable painted 200 years ago. Beautiful book, well worth having.
